Womxn from the Mountain and instructor Rachael K Sharp invite all who are interested in experiencing how art and community activation go hand in hand to this one-of-a-kind workshop.
In this unique and pertinent workshop, you’ll weave theatre skills into an examination of the impact of data center development on Colorado communities, engaging local organizations committed to health and housing justice: both Womxn from the Mountain and GES Coalition.
Over the course of the series, participants will engage with a range of modalities including Theatre of the Oppressed and Somatic Abolition practices, building skills for personal and community health through reflection, connection, and collective storytelling. The workshop will culminate in a Legislative Theatre inspired event; a public, site-specific activation that invites community members, local policy makers, and organizers to come together for collective action.
We invite GES community members, allies, supporters, and all interested folks to join in this compelling series.
