The Salon at the Savoy is a free creative networking series at The Savoy Denver, where you’ll meet artists across disciplines, hear about their creative practice, and take part in a hands-on activity inspired by their work.
It’s a fun, casual gathering—part learning, part making, part connecting—designed to spark ideas, relationships, and new collaborations.
We have 3 amazing artists lined up for this Salon.
Libby Barbee is a Denver-based visual artist whose multidisciplinary work explores place, landscape, and the American frontier myth, examining how cultural narratives shape identity, environment, and contemporary social realities.
Dan Manzanares is an award-winning literary arts educator with an MFA in genre fiction from Western Colorado University. A 2016 Mayor’s Award recipient, he has taught with Lighthouse Writers Workshop and the University of Denver’s Prison Arts Initiative and currently teaches at the American Museum of Western Art.
Jem Zornow is a Denver-based multi-instrumentalist blending folk, bluegrass, and jazz traditions. He leads several Colorado bands and is known for his collaborative, improvisation-driven performances
This program is supported by a grant from Colorado Creative Industries.
